Could this be a craigslist scam?

i recently posted a wedding dress for sale on craigslist. i recieved an email from someone that says they are satisfied with the price and they are looking to buy it. i live in ohio and they live in atlanta and they say they will send me extra money for shipping. all of this is going to be in a certified bank check. they want my name address and phone number. they also included their info... could this be a scam?
