Renting a Car under 21 w/ AAA membership?

My boyfriend and I are renting a car this weekend to drive to Atlanta from VA. He is 21 but I am 20. Most rental places require the driver to be 21+ so his father is renting the car. However, I have a AAA membership that I would like to use. So my question is: Can someone else rent the car using my AAA membership?
