Moving to Atlanta.. Buckhead or Smyrna?
Both places are safe for the most part. For a decent Apt you are looking at rent to be btwn $800 - $1200 in those 2 areas. Depends on what amenities you are looking for & what size. If you are looking for nightlife Buckhead would be a better choice than Smyrna.
